1917       Started off as a cotton-milling business at Ojima, Koto Ward, Tokyo

               During the early years of establishment, our main business was manufacture of interior cotton wool for automobile seats.

1923       Workshop completely burnt down due to Great Kanto Earthquake

1924       Rebuilt the workshop at our current location in Toyo-cho, Eto Ward, Tokyo

1945       Workshop complete burnt down due to World War II, but rebuilt in the following year

1962       Incorporated as Mori Seimenjo Corporation Ltd.

1963       Implemented duplex side cotton milling machine (An old machine that refines raw cotton to produce cotton wool)

1966       Implemented metallic card-cotton wool production (Newer machine that refines raw cotton to produce cotton wool)

 

Recent News

2010      The website for domestic customers was renewed

2018      The website in English was launched

2020      Real shop “Futon Tokyo” open in April (postponed)
